The ventilation system should include a damper. If your roof or wall exhaust cap already has a built-in damper, an additional damper at the range hood’s top or rear outlet is not required and may rather restrict proper airflow.
To avoid duplicate dampers in your ventilation setup, Vesta range hoods no longer include a damper by default. If a damper is needed for your installation, please contact us at sales@vesta.kitchen, and our team will be happy to assist you.
